Da Mystery of Chessboxin' (raw imma give it to ya)

So when I woke up this morning and opened my browser I noticed that GOOGLE was all decorated nicely, so i clicked on the symbol to see what today was. Lo and behold GOOGLE was acknowledging the passed life of the very acredited abstract painter Jason Pollock. Now we can all agree that he was a beast, but this got me thinking about who my favorite artists were. I love all forms of art, whether it be music, dancing, or what have you. I just wanted to introduce, or reintroduce for that matter, some very influential artists that I adore.

Keith Haring

First being Keith Haring, he was one of the first to bust out on the scene and make graffiti more accepted. He was one of the people that contributed to making graffiti what it is today and took it to an entirely new level.

Damien Hirst

This next sick bastard is one of my all time favs. Not so much a painter but a sculpture. He brought controversy to the art world and took things such as dead goats, sharks, and even skulls and made them into art. Damien Hirst found the beauty with-in the hideous and tried to show the world what he saw.

COPE2

COPE2, pshhh this guy right here, he got me lovin graffiti. I was always interested but never interested enough to do it myself, and just seeing his work made me want to tag. Now I'm no COPE2, you won't be seeing and throw-ups by me any time soon, but if you step in my room you'll be able to see some of my work.

Socky Chop

This last sucker is someone whose work I was recently introduced to. I'm not quite sure how I stumbled upon his art but Socky Chops paintings are beastin.
